About Us
Lounge Getaway Palace is an independent editorial guide to hospitality properties. It describes setting, rooms, dining and surroundings in a consistent structure, then sends the reader to each property’s own official listing for details that change over time.
Why this guide exists and who it is written for
Many readers want orientation before they open an official listing. They want to know what kind of place a property is — waterfront resort, city hotel, countryside casino hotel — without being pushed toward a reservation screen. This guide exists for that quieter stage of research.
It is written for adults who prefer measured description over urgency. The tone is formal because the subject is real businesses with real house rules. Superlatives and countdown language do not belong here; stating what a property is, and stopping there, does.
Readers who already know which property they will visit may still use these pages to compare setting and category across the catalog. Those who are still choosing can move from the homepage into By the Water, Urban Properties or Featured Highlights, then leave this site for the listing that holds current detail.
If you need to ask about the wording of an entry, the Contact Us desk receives questions about this guide’s content. It cannot change anything at a property and it cannot hold a room.
How properties are described — the same categories applied to every entry
Every card follows one pattern. The property name appears exactly as supplied. City and province sit beneath it. Category and star class are stated without invention. A short description is built only from those facts and from the setting tags that shape the prose — waterfront, downtown, countryside, airport proximity and similar cues.
We do not invent room counts, restaurant names, awards or renovation years. Amenities that are not implied by the supplied facts are left unstated. Where a casino hotel includes an age-restricted floor, that floor is treated as one amenity among others, not as the headline of the stay.
Photographs illustrate the entry they accompany. They show a property at a particular moment and are not a guarantee of any specific room or facility. Alt text names the property and city; it never carries rates or review scores.
The listing button on each card — labelled “See the Property” — is the only outbound link for that venue. It opens the official listing in a new tab so the reader can verify details where they are maintained.
What this site does not do: no bookings, no payments, no availability, no ranking
Lounge Getaway Palace does not take reservations. It does not process payments, issue confirmations or display availability calendars. Nothing on these pages is an offer of a room, a rate or a stay. Search fields that pretend to query inventory do not appear here.
We also do not rank properties against one another. Featured Highlights is a rotating selection presented for information, not a league table. Catalog pages group entries by setting so readers can browse by context; the order on each page is editorial arrangement, not a score.
Guest testimonials about named properties are not invented on this site. The only feedback published here, when it appears, concerns the guide itself — its structure and clarity — and names no hotel.
If you need a booking, you must deal with the property or with the platform that holds its inventory. Their terms, not ours, govern that transaction.
Independence — no affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from any property named here
This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by any hotel, resort, casino or brand named in the catalog. Property names and marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification and description only.
Independence is stated plainly on every page. The notice above the header and again in the footer is not optional decoration; it is the framing under which every entry is published. Nothing on this site constitutes a reservation, an offer or an endorsement.
Editorial decisions — which catalog a property sits in, how a setting is described — are made by this desk alone. They are not commercial placements. Corrections to factual wording can be requested through the contact form; changes to a property’s own facilities must be made by the operator.
